The Biswa Bangla Gate is an impressive structure that stands tall as a gateway to the city of Kolkata. , it is one of the   landmarks with a hanging   restaurant .   The  Owner of this  Restaurant is the  Government of West Bengal.   The design of this restaurant  first publish in 2015  in the public circle .Then 6^th March in  2017  the construction work of the  “ Biswa Bangla Gate “ was  started .  Starting time the expected budget for this restaurant was around 25 crore .Construction work was completed in 27January in 2018 and  finally it was opened in 2 February 2019  around six years ago .

Standing at a height of about 55 meters (180 feet). The area of ​​this Biswa Bangla Gate is 220 meters. 70 tons of steel have been used in this Biswa Bangla Gate . It is one of the tallest structures in Kolkata, making it a perfect spot for visitors to admire the city’s skyline. The Biswa Bangla Gate is part of the New Town development project, aiming to make the area a new hub for business and tourism in Kolkata.

Biswa Bangla Gate is located the 3^rd rotary traffic island on Biswa Bangla Sarani , near Rabindra tirtha in action Area 1D ,  New Town , Kolkata , West Bengal  . It is connected with the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre metro station of Kolkata  Metro Orange Line .
